JPMorgan Gives Peek Into Economy |

As the Occupy Wall Street protests approach its one month anniversary on Oct. 17, third quarter earnings season continues with JP Morgan Chase, the first of the major U.S. banks to report earnings this month. JP Morgan's results are used as a barometer for broader economic activity, given its size and global revenues, according to investment bank Keefe, Bruyette & Woods.
