'Tax the Rich' Aspect of Jobs Bill Punted |

On Monday, the White House gave one of its first accounts describing how the country could pay for the $447 billion American Jobs Act President Obama announced on Thursday. The president hopes the special congressional supercommittee already charged with making $1.5 trillion in cuts by Nov. 23 will "overachieve" and consider White House's proposals to pay for the bill.
