Another LEED-Certified Building for Hardin Construction Company and Young Harris College |

New recreation center earns Young Harris College its second LEED certification in two years. The center incorporates such sustainability features as low-VOC finishes throughout; an emphasis on windows, which provide a high level of daylighting; use of Forest Stewardship Council-Certified wood for the gymnasium and multipurpose room floors; and regionally obtained construction materials.
